To the Tersoro Gas Station, Ninilchik from Anchorage

A 3.5 hour drive unless you stop along the way to take in all the magnificent scenery

that this drive has to offer.  We suggest you do!

Follow the Seward Highway (Route 1) South, out of Anchorage to the

Sterling Highway Junction, (approximately 89 miles from Anchorage).

Bearing right here, following signs to Homer, follow the

Sterling Highway (southwest) through Soldotna, (approx. 145 miles from Anchorage)

Continue on another 39 miles South to mile marker 135.

Pass the old village of Ninilchik in the river valley to the right.  Drive on, you’re almost there!

As you see the Tesoro Gas Station on your left, turn left(Oil Well Road).

We are directly behind Tesoro Gas.

What to Bring

We recommend you dress warmly and in layers so, based on weather conditions, you can add or remove layers as necessary. This should be topped off with a wind/waterproof outer shell. Our boats all have heated cabins but while we are fishing you will be standing outside. We can’t always predict the weather in Alaska but one thing is for sure - you'll be in it!
